Welcome Back to Another Day in Paradise.

Sustainable development, it’s not just a lofty ecological goal, it’s a natural law. Technology allows us to ignore it for a time, but in the end nature seeks a balance. You can only push so far one way before it comes pushing back at you. Hmm…yes, we call that the Newtonian Push Theory, um-hmm.

Quite a lot of people have been pondering these natural truths of late, inspired no doubt from a seemingly alarming rise in catastrophic weather. And although, us children of the millennium have already proven we are obsessed with the end of the world, some would say it is nearer. I, myself, am on the fence about such apocalyptic things but on the smaller scale—on the personal level, I do agree. Spread yourself too thin, throw too much caution to the wind, you’ll pay for it, somehow. What goes around comes around, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Yes, we have looked deep into the mysteries of science and have found the answer (and it is: take more vacations.) And that sustainable development law, well, whether you like it or not, it is what’s quietly lurking around every corner.

So in the spirit of seeking balance (before it seeks us), we start off our 2005-2006 season with equal helpings of smart and fun (and if we think smart is fun, can we count it twice?)

So welcome back, buckle up and full speed ahead. Get ready to enjoy another season of Another Day in Paradise, where we bring you all things bright and beautiful about this shiny little place we call paradise.
