INSTITUTO IMOBILIARIO GLOBAL MEXICO A.C. (IIGM) was officially founded in 2014, in Mexico, by four real estate professionals, with more than 120 years in the Global real estate arena. The group has always believed that PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION for real estate agents in Mexico should be the foundation for anyone wanting to work or invest in Mexico. IIGM’s distinguishing characteristic is its focus on bringing INTERNATIONAL real estate courses with cutting edge education to our students, in their cities.
Knowing that education is the key to success for anyone selling or wanting to buy in Mexico, the group proceeded to search for real estate training, to assist REALTORS and others in the industry. It was frustrating searching for suitable and useful courses. We were disheartened as we researched available courses – finding that there was a huge lack of instruction outside the capital of Mexico City, a city far away from the thousands of agents that live in the interior and along the coasts and borders of this beautiful country.
So far classes (Accredited buyer Representative, Certified International Property Specialist, Resort and Second Home Specialist and Certified Negotiation Expert have been limited to Baja California Sur.
In October the Certified International Negotiation Exert class (CNE) will presented in Puerto Vallarta. The class has been designed by the prestigious Real Estate Negotiation Institute of Arizona. The institute has trained more than 35,000 agents in the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
Students will learn about, “Competitive Win-Lose Bargaining”, versus, “Collaborative Win-Win Negotiating.” The differences between these two classic approaches will be explained as well as how to use both approaches to obtain the best outcome for clients and real estate agents.
The following topics will be addressed; Psychology of Buying, Persuasion Principles, CNE Model and Planning Guide, Case studies and Skill Development. The class will part pâté in group discussions.
Upon passing an exam and becoming certified as CNE students will receive; over 300 pages of negotiation summaries and marketing tools, over 100 copies of scripts for for real estate negotiation situations using proven persuasion techniques, Quarterly Newsletters and access to negotiation research for use in real estate negotiations.
